What is Mobile Trading? |

Mobile Trading is a service that
allow you to trade securities using your mobile phone. It is an
application that can be installed in your mobile phone to enable you to
view Bursa Malaysia stock quotes and submit orders.

What are the benefits of trading via Mobile Phone? |
|
Mobile Trading gives you the flexibility and mobility in monitoring and trading
your shares. It is very useful when you are constantly on the move. It offers
wireless access to eTrading, real time stock quotes, indices, stock tracker as well as favourite stock listing.

What are the phones that support Mobile Trading? |
|
Most of the 3G, GPRS, EDGE enabled mobile phones with
178x240 pixels colour resolution support Mobile Trading. However the connectivity
depends on your telecommunication(Telco) providers' specification. Please refer to
your Telco for detail of the 3G, GPRS, EDGE services.

How to sign up for Mobile Trading? |
|
- You must first register as an AmeSecurities user before you can sign up for
Mobile Trading. You are required to key in AmeSecurities User ID and
Password to register for Mobile Trading.
- Log on to
www.amesecurities.com.my and click "Mobile Trading" button to sign up
and complete all the required information. Make sure you have activated
3G/GPRS/EDGE services on your registered mobile phone.
- Mobile Trading application link will be sent via SMS to your registered
mobile phone for installation. Proceed with the over-the-air (OTA)
installation of Mobile Trading application.
- Upon completion of Mobile Trading application installation, you will be
prompted to register your name and mobile phone number to get an
activation code, which you will receive via SMS.
- Use this activation code to activate your Mobile Trading.

Will I be given new User ID, Password and PIN? |
|
No. You must use the same User ID, Password and PIN registered with
AmeSecurities to login and trade via Mobile Trading.

|
How much does it cost to sign up for Mobile Trading? |
|
Registration is free but you will be charged a subscription fee of RM20.00 and RM38.00
per month for mobile and communicator respectively with minimum 6 months of subscription.
You also need to pay for the 3G, GPRS or EDGE charges to your Telco provider.

Can I still use my mobile to make and receive phone calls? |
|
Yes, you can still make or receive calls while login to Mobile
Trading. The system will automatically suspend GPRS and switch to GSM mode
when there is incoming or outgoing call. GPRS will resume when the call
ends. However, if the internet connection is in 3G mode, you can still
make and receive calls while login to Mobile Trading.

Which Telco provider do I need to register
in order to use Mobile Trading? |
|
You can register with any Telco provider that provides GPRS or
EDGE or 3G services.

|
If I change my mobile phone number do I need to re-register? |
|
Yes you need to register your new mobile phone number to access to Mobile Trading.
|

|
Can I access to Mobile Trading from overseas? |
|
Yes as long as you have 3G/GPRS/EDGE roaming service. |
|
|
Can I view my mobile phone orders via AmeSecurities? |
|
Yes, AmeSecurities will capture all trades done through your mobile
phone and will display as "W" order in your Order Status window.

Should there be a 3G/GPRS/EDGE dysfunction, how do I place my order? |
|
You may log on to www.amesecurities.com.my and place your order online or you may call
your dealer/remisier to place the order.

|
What is the frequency of the price update on the screen? |
|
There are two options for price update to suit your trading needs:
- Resume Streaming - Under this option the stock prices will be
auto-updated once every 3 seconds. You are allowed to pause the
streaming of the share price feed anytime by clicking "Pause Streaming"
button. Pause mode will automatically switch on if mobile trading is inactive
for 5 minutes.
- Refresh Once - Under this option you will receive the latest
data update once per click.
You can switch to any of the two options as and when you wish. Please
take note that the updating of data may take longer if the 3G/GPRS/EDGE
connection is weak.

How long does it takes for Mobile Trading to establish connection? |
|
It depends on the 3G/GPRS/EDGE signal strength but usually it takes between 5-10
seconds for Mobile Trading to establish connection.
